What is CHAOS?

CHAOS (Childrens Holidays and Other Specialities) was established in 1976 and is small, registered charity ran solely by volunteers and based in East London, (Registered Charity No: 281609). CHAOS provide free summer holiday camps to children who are referred from their school, and who would not otherwise be recieving a holiday that year. 

How are camps run?

Our camp staff are unpaid volunteers, and many have years of experience in education, youth work and social care. A typical week's activities will include team games in our field, trips to the beach and seaside towns, exploration treks, trips to the circus and roller disco plus paddling in the sea or swimming in the local pool.

Where is it based?

Based in East London Boroughs including Waltham Forest, Newham, Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham; we provide free summer camping holidays for 8-12 year olds outside of London; who would not otherwise have a break from urban city life.

What does it cost?

CHAOS camping holidays are FREE to families but cost a lot to run. In 2015, our camps cost over £20,000.
